One morning I was looking at the ridiculously extensive collection of products that had accumulated in my bathroom, none of which I really liked for one reason or another. I was overwhelmed and knew great hair didn't have to be time consuming or complicated. I decided to make a product that worked and that didn't have harmful ingredients. Rig Tig Curl was born.

Less can really be more. Fewer products that get the job done and having to use less of a product because a little goes a long way just feels good. The product ingredients were carefully cultivated to only include what is needed. Life is complicated enough; let’s not complicate our hair.
Healthy
We made a healthy hair product that actually works! People with all types of textured hair helped us tweak the formula until we got it just right.
Only ingredients that align with good health make the cut. You won’t find any parabens, phthalates, sulfates, silicones, petrolatum, mineral oil, dyes, or fragrance in our product. If we don’t think an ingredient is good for our kids or us, it isn’t permitted in our ingredient list.
Conscientious
We hold ourselves to high standards and strive to always act with integrity, kindness and respect. We are a very small, honest company who values people and community.

Rig Tig is Danish for Just Right. This product helps create just the right curls, with just the right ingredients. Everything we do is guided by the principle of just doing the right thing. And it is just fun to say!
